Curated, bounded crisis trackers that combine stable coverage definitions with World Monitor’s maintained country-level humanitarian summaries.

Each tracker has a fixed, reviewable geographic boundary. The static page explains that boundary; current monthly conflict metrics load separately and fail closed when a country summary is unavailable.

How these trackers are scoped

Every tracker names its covered countries up front and never silently widens. Metrics are monthly country-level conflict summaries — recorded events, political-violence events, fatalities, and demonstrations — from the UN OCHA Humanitarian API (HDX HAPI). A combined total is shown only when every covered country reports the same reference month; otherwise per-country figures stand alone.

What they are not

These are bounded pulses, not battlefield maps, casualty ledgers, or forecasts. Missing countries are reported as unavailable rather than zero, and event-level context lives in the live dashboard with its map layers and independent signals.
